Emma Campion

Emma Campion joined Nelson Defense Group in 2023 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as President of Mock Trial and received the Habush Habush & Rottier Outstanding Trial Advocacy Award. Before attending law school Emma worked as legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Capitol where her policy focus included juvenile and criminal law and reforms. Like the other attorneys at Nelson Defense Group, Emma will be focusing 100% on criminal defense.  She will handle misdemeanor cases under the direct supervision of Aaron Nelson as well as provide litigation support.

As a second-generation criminal defense attorney, Emma has spent her life cultivating a passion for Defending People Against the Power of Government. In her work, Emma prioritizes communication to ensure clients’ wellbeing throughout the course of their case. Whether in or out of the courtroom, she is here to help.
